From the year 2019 to 2022, finally, the amendment in the conservative constitution has been approved. Now the drafted one going to make the changes more democratic in the new charter of Chile.
on 4th July 2022, the referendum came out. By September 4th the decree will be in public.
Aljazeera shared the format of the new constitution as:
It will have 388 Articles.
A social and democratic state of law.
Plurinational - Many nationals within one organized territory.
Intercultural - Inclusive and diversified Chile.
Ecological - Importance to the environment is as important as other aspects of civic life.
Although Chile is one of the fastest-growing economies in Latin America, income inequality has been a concern for Chileans. The world looks at Chile as a progressive, generating soft creative personalities. Chile's contribution to the literary world is Gabriela Mistral and Pablo Neruda. Both of them were awarded Nobel Prize for Literature.
All eyes are on Chile's new charter of a more democratic, all-around, and diverse constitution act. This will be an example of not lip service but practical implementation of globalization based on equality & far from junky hegemonism.
